As if being thrown into a personalized White Space wasn't enough, Shadow finds himself in front of his family, people taken away from him long, long ago. Shadow continues with his quest to destroy Black Doom once and for all, but now is wondering if he could change the past.

I find the inclusion of games that came after Generations to be very interesting, because this game takes place alongside Sonic Generations, so that means Shadow's actions in Forces MIGHT be because he knew what was going to happen and tried to avert it, only to find out that he just accelerated fate. Is that a stretch, possibly, but hey it's what theories are for.

Also I don't think the existence of Maria and Gerald in White Space is a spoiler, I didn't see the trailers, but considering how they had a significant enough involvement in Shadow's past, it was pretty much a No-Brainer that they'd end up here.
