Surviving COVID over the past few years, we have had to learn new ways to cope, to adapt, to inspire and be inspired. Practicing social-Distancing and Self-Confinement gave me the chance to be inspired by the "new normal". Time marched on and COVID continued to be present in all of our lives

As an interdisciplinary artisdecided to explore other “in-home” spaces to experiment my spontaneous dance. I thought to move around my home and create other restrictive spaces (other than my hallway). This time I was inspired by a section of my cozy “family room”. Again I used my surroundings to create an atmosphere and chose some of my own songs, recorded on my album “Kiss The Sky” to perform a spontaneous dance.

As I composed the songs, I am very familiar, not only with the lyrics and music, but also with the emotion and intention which inspired the song. Knowing I’m not a “real” dancer, I deliver my own audio creation… performing with my authentic being… within the limited restraints of my body… all the while remaining in the moment!

This song “Rumours” speaks for itself as I attempt to portray some of the agony and misunderstandings that arise when people “gossip”. I’m fairly sure most of you have experienced this at one point or the other.

Séances en salle familiale : espaces à domicile

Survivant COVID au cours des dernières années, nous avons dû apprendre de nouvelles façons de faire face, de nous adapter, d'inspirer et d'être inspirés. Pratiquer la distanciation sociale et l'auto-confinement m'a donné la chance d'être inspiré par la "nouvelle normalité". Le temps a passé et le COVID a continué d'être présent dans toutes nos vies

En tant qu'artiste interdisciplinaire, j'ai décidé d'explorer d'autres espaces « à la maison » pour expérimenter ma danse spontanée. Je pensais me déplacer dans mon logement et créer d'autres espaces contraignants (autre que mon couloir). Cette fois, je me suis inspiré d'une section de ma confortable "salle familiale". Encore une fois, j'ai utilisé mon environnement pour créer une atmosphère et j'ai choisi certaines de mes propres chansons, enregistrées sur mon album "Kiss The Sky", pour exécuter une danse spontanée.

Comme j'ai composé les chansons, je suis très familier, non seulement avec les paroles et la musique, mais aussi avec l'émotion et l'intention qui ont inspiré la chanson. Sachant que je ne suis pas un « vrai » danseur, je livre ma propre création audio... je joue avec mon être authentique... dans les contraintes limitées de mon corps... tout en restant dans l'instant !

Cette chanson "Rumours" parle d'elle-même alors que je tente de dépeindre une partie de l'agonie et des malentendus qui surviennent lorsque les gens "commérent". Je suis presque sûr que la plupart d'entre vous ont vécu cela à un moment ou à un autre.
