This is the DX edition of the 1/350 scale Battleship Yamato Veryfire model kit, which was released in August 2024.
The DX edition comes with a luxurious set of detail-up parts, including Photo etching, 3D printer parts, and wooden deck sheets, and costs $350.
Until now, there was a lot of work involved in making the triple machine guns using Photo etching parts, but thanks to the 3D printer parts, the production work has been reduced and higher quality parts have been completed... but as a modeler, I thought it was a little sad.
