as I restore my 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible I have run into a situation where the old rubber and plastic parts need to be cleaned and restored. some of the parts had a lot of old paint and dirt on them while other parts were very stiff. some of the replacement parts can be purchased by Rubbertherightway or Steelerubber while other parts need to be reused. for the ones that I can salvage, see how I brought them back to life.
