MINI ROBO

145 views 6________

My student has developed a mini robot with two 150 RPM DC motors, powered by 9V batteries and controlled by switches.

Movement Mechanism:

For the left hand, one DC motor is connected in series with a switch and a 9V battery.
Similarly, for the right hand, another DC motor is connected in series with a switch and a 9V battery.
When both switches are turned on, the robot's hands begin rotating, designed to attract people’s attention.
Eye Sensors and LED Blink:

The robot has two IR sensors, one in the left eye and one in the right.
The VCC of each IR sensor is connected to the positive terminal of a 4.5V battery, and the GND pin is connected to the negative terminal.
The output of the IR sensor is connected to a 1kΩ resistor, and from the resistor to the anode of an LED. The cathode of the LED is connected to GND.
This setup is repeated for both eyes. When someone approaches the robot, the IR sensors detect motion, causing the LEDs in the eyes to blink.
Sound Module:

A sound module is connected to a speaker. This module allows the robot to mimic and reproduce any sounds or speech it hears, enhancing its interactive capabilities.
This mini robot is designed to capture attention with its rotating hands, blinking eyes, and the ability to reproduce sounds, making it a fun and engaging project.
