I was lucky enough to catch 2 kings early in the season. This fall has been warmer than the past few years. Due to the warmer than normal water temps, the salmon are not as active. Shore fisherman all over Lake Michigan are experiencing the same problem. Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of fish caught. You just have to be at the right place and at the right time. A little luck never hurts. This season was the season of a thousand cast for these Kings. Looking forward to cooler waters.
