My 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible(suicide door convertible) is a completely custom resto mod project. in this video I am installing a hidden door lock in the recessed handles. this is a great way to make sure I have some way to unlock the care in case of complete electrical failure. I wanted the lock but didn't want people to see it. in this video you will see how we took some custom door handles and hid a lock behind it after fabricating a special bracket so the original door lock will fit in the door. hopefully this gives you some ideas on how to customize your door locks on your resto mod.
