Today (as of recording and uploading) I FINALLY beat the hardest level in Runner 3, _Reference.zip, for the very first time ever, and on 150% difficulty (the hardest setting) while grabbing all gold bars and gems AND skipping the checkpoint too! I've grown up with the original Bit.Trip Runner and my uncle was always impressed with the hand-eye coordination I had that enabled me to play these games, so finally beating the hardest level in the series with the hardest settings was a satisfying peak to that (he was even in the room with me when I did it). Unfortunately, I beat it on one of my "practice" attempts, and so I didn't manage to record my attempt, but I did manage to record the score tally screen after beating it lol.

I then in the video went on to buy out everything in the shop, since I now finally got all the remaining gems and gildans I needed (I had already fully completed every other level on the hardest settings with checkpoints skipped LAST year, Summer of 2020, and I attempted to beat this level but the Extra section proved too much for me at the time, so I didn't manage to beat it until a year later). I also decided to play another level and fight the final boss as a little "celebration" lol. Now the only things I have left for 100% completion are the character tokens (which seem to be extremely well-hidden) and a couple other things!!

...funny how I became the world record speedrunner for this game before actually beating the hardest level on ANY difficulty setting...probably the only one to do that lol.
