Deadlock Prevention in OS is first Deadlock handling Method or Approach out of four Methods used to handle deadlock in Operating System. Basic Concept of Deadlock Prevention is to Violate any one Necessary Condition of Deadlock. Necessary Conditions for Deadlock are Mutual Exclusion, Hold and wait, No Preemption, and Circular wait. One the said Condition ll be removed Deadlock will not occur in Operation System.
