UE5, Two Essential Points for Lighting
You must consider two essential points before starting lighting in Unreal Engine.
Unreal Engine defaults to automatic exposure control, which adjusts brightness based on location lighting. This means going somewhere brighter will reduce exposure; in a darker place, it will increase exposure.
We'll deactivate this feature using a post-process volume for precise lighting control.
Additionally, deactivate built-in tone mapping in the color grading section to enhance control over lighting and color. This setup allows for external color correction or Look-Up Tables for final grading.
