31 years later... (AKIRA AMV)
''At 2:17 P.M. On July 16th, 1988. a new type of bomb exploded over the metropolitan area of Japan.
Nine hours later, WWIII began.
Leningrad, Moscow, Kazan, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, New York, Okinawa, Berlin, Hamburg, Warsaw, London, Birmingham, Paris, New Delhi...
...and the world began to rebuild.''
-Opening narration of AKIRA manga.
--------------------
Literally the first AMV I've ever did, even though it's 30 seconds. The only genuine problem I've faced was very slow processing of video in montage-making program due to fact that my PC is ancient dumpster. I love Recommended list for giving me cool soundtracks and artists that I never knew they actually existed.
I wanted to make some sort of fan announcement/tribute about upcoming anime series and 4K version of movie. Ironically, I can't force my PC to make anything beyond 480p resolution.
Also, this can be considered as experiment to ''what if'' question.
''What if opening scene had any music?'' was my question ever since I watched Akira for the first time back in July 2018. I was confused a lot, but I gave that movie a second run and it grew on me. Living in time where anime's plot is set is so bizarre and damn cool at the same time.
Originally this is made in 14th of July due to being busy IRL. It didn't take me too long to imagine and create this though. Bonus point is that music actually fits.
Obviously, the Cool factor does NOT change without music :)
