Earlier today, the new moon for the month of October was first sighted in Israel, about 27 minutes after sunset on October 4. It is now October 5 here in Australia, and also in Israel.

Will the rapture happen today or tomorrow? I am now leaning towards tomorrow, October 6, because I have discovered that the shofar is not sounded on a Sabbath according to the rules determined by the rabbis.

This also fits in with the 24 40 theory which I discovered in Matthew 24 verse 40, a verse reference where Jesus describes the rapture - "one will be taken, the other will be left". Of course, this could just be a nice idea that 2024 is the year and that the rapture may occur after a full gestation period of 40 weeks in alignment with the Revelation 12 sign, which interestingly occurred when the moon was at an illumination of 11% in September 2017.

The equivalent moon phase in 2024 will occur on October 6 when the moon is at 12% illumination.

So the 7-year anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign of September 23, 2017 on the true Jewish calendar is October 6, 2024. You can see the relevant moon phases displayed in the slides on this video. So this is indeed a neat convergence that gives me hope for Sunday evening being an extremely high watch time for the rapture.

Of course, as always I have to stress that any talk of a rapture date is not a prophecy or prediction, it's just calculation and speculation, and may not come to pass.
