Turbine Jaguar XJR15 with Wings at Laguna Seca - Assetto Corsa

I added some visible aerodynamics to the model of the Jaguar, clear acrylic wings in appearance using the glass texture so I wouldn't have to wade into the hell that is UV editing, as well as canards, a second level wing on the rear wing, a clear lip spoiler under the original rear wing so as to detach the airflow for lower drag, twin downforce fans in the back of the engine bay to provide a reason for the (currently non-functional) downforce fan code in the Aero file, and lastly thin strakes in the rear diffuser to clean up airflow. All of that hopefully justifies having much stronger downforce in the vehicle, but it doesn't quite excuse the comparatively low drag, so I'll cheat and call that a futuristic ultra-smooth clear ceramic top-coat to go with the quote-unquote "graphene-reinforced carbon fiber", "thin-skin truss-reinforced carbon fiber" panels and the "topologically optimized ultra high modulus carbon fiber" chassis. Yeah, I did some research on materials and structural forms.

My driving is pretty piss-poor in this, unfortunately, though that's nothing new. It was particularly bad though this time since I forgot to change the weather settings, its early morning, the track surface is somewhat cold, the tyres stayed cold and the track was in post-rain foggy conditions, so the wheels were just slipping on the still-wet surface. Not to mention there was some level of wind blowing from the South-West, which for some reason I always have enabled. But I did get a 1 minute 31 second time on that second lap, placing me a fraction behind a McLaren P1 driven by Randy Pobst. Pretty decent, I'd say, though he'd probably get this thing around in a minute ten or less if he drove it with a wheel or in real life somehow. I still have to get the door and downforce fan animations working, and the actual downforce of the fans too.
