Al-ʻAlaq or Congealed Blood, is the 96th chapter of the Qur'an. It is composed of 19 āyāt or verses. It is sometimes also known as Sūrat Iqrā. Chapter 96 is traditionally believed to have been Muhammad's first revelation.

Quran Chapter 96th Surah Al Alaq (Verse 1-19):

﴿١﴾ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
﴿٢﴾ خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
﴿٣﴾ اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ
﴿٤﴾ الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
﴿٥﴾ عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
﴿٦﴾ كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ
﴿٧﴾ أَنْ رَآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ
﴿٨﴾ إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰ
﴿٩﴾ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَىٰ
﴿١٠﴾ عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰ
﴿١١﴾ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ
﴿١٢﴾ أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَىٰ
﴿١٣﴾ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
﴿١٤﴾ أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
﴿١٥﴾ كَلَّا لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ
﴿١٦﴾ نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ
﴿١٧﴾ فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ
﴿١٨﴾ سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ
﴿١٩﴾ كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ ۩
